Dear Friends, Amazing news: starting tonight our little documentary-that-could The Music’s Gonna Get You Through will be broadcasting across the country continuing throughout October/November (and possibly next year!) I hope you’ll watch and that you’ll nag other people to watch. ;) If you can email just a few people, or suggest to your network of Facebook friends that they “like” us, this will help ensure that PBS broadcasts The Music’s Gonna Get You Through in the most possible places. Also starting tonight we've launched a grassroots effort to get The Music’s Gonna Get You Through out into the world beyond public television so that it can be used effectively in deepening understanding of the issues facing the visually challenged (and so that more viewers can enjoy Henry, his students, their music, and their victories!). We've just started raising money on the website Kickstarter...at the following link you can see our extended trailer, all the cool stuff you get for donating and all the reasons why we're choosing to work for a larger distribution: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1463447999/the-musics-gonna-get-you-through-documentary If you can give money, fantastic; if not, no worries! But PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE pass on the link to people you know.
For general film info, you can send people here: www.musicsgonna.com Or you can go to this link (it's updated every Thursday) and enter your zip code to find where the film is playing near you: http://itvs.org/television?film=musics-gonna-get-you-through
If you don't see it, by all means, call your PBS station and ask for it! ;)
Thanks again for all your kindness, patience, love, support and inspiration over the years; this simply would not have happened without you. Look forward to hearing from you and hopefully, sharing more good news as we go forward!
